  • Can I select an exact delivery date?
    Yes. Use the "Additional Information" box during the checkout to specify a particular delivery date. Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed with Ground shipping.  back to top

  • When will my package arrive?
    Unless given an option for Saturday delivery, All deliveries will take place on business days (Monday - Friday). There are no guaranteed times of arrival, however, residential deliveries typically arrive by 7:00 pm in your time zone, and business deliveries typically arrive by 5:00pm in your time zone. No Sunday deliveries are available.

    Each product has different shipping options and delivery dates available.   • Do you offer same day delivery?
    Yes. But we only offer same day delivery on select products such as wine basket, fruit baskets and flowers. You can view all of our same day delivery products here.

    Please note: These gifts are delivered by one of our local design centers located throughout the United States and Canada. Typically, standard deliveries are made between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM and business deliveries before 5:00 PM. Hours may be extended during holidays. Please note in some locations we may need an additional 24 hours for the delivery of exotic flowers, wine and fruit baskets. Same day delivery is available for most gifts when ordered before the cutoff time. *Delivery not available on Sunday. *Purchase must be made on Friday by 2:00 PM CST for Saturday deliveries. -The recipient may be called to schedule delivery. - We do not accept requests for delivery at specific times of day. - Substitutions may be necessary to ensure your arrangement or specialty gift is delivered in a timely manner. - For residential deliveries, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return or attempt delivery the next day. During the holidays deliveries may be made as late as 9pm. - For business deliveries, if the business is closed or not accepting deliveries, delivery will be attempted the next business day. During the holidays deliveries may be made as late as 5pm. - Our goal is to respond to your inquiry within 48 hours.   back to top


  • Can I ship my order anywhere?
    We can ship all of our products anywhere within the United States. "Same Day" products can be delivered in Canada

    Unfortunately, we cannot ship the majority of our products to APO & FPO boxes or foreign addresses. Click here for select items available for shipping to APO & FPO addresses. We can ship to Hawaii and Alaska but please note, you will be contacted for additional shipping fees. As an alternative for Canadian addresses, we can ship our "Same Day" delivery items to select locations in Canada. We cannot ship to PO Box addresses.  back to top


  • Can I ship your products to an apartment?
    Yes. However, the shipping carriers will not leave your package at the door if no one is home or no one answers the door of an apartment building or complex. Furthermore, we cannot force the driver to leave the package if no one is home. Our suggestion is to have your package shipped to a place of employment.

    If you are shipping perishable items such as meals and fruit to an apartment addresss, we will not be responsible or issue refunds if a delivery attempt was made on time and the recipient was not home to receive the package. It is your responsibility to inform your recipient of their impending delivery.  back to top

  • I have a friend in the hospital. Do you ship you ship to hospitals?
    Deliveries to hospital are strongly inadvisable. Being that Hospital deliveries go to a general receiving area, we cannot guarantee hospital deliveries. For this reason, no refunds will be given for patients that have checked out or are unable to locate.

    *For products shipping to hospitals, hotels, colleges or similar location, Gourmet Grocery Online will attempt delivery of the package to the street address provided by the customer. However, we provide no guarantee that the package will be delivered to the intended recipient or company. Gourmet Grocery Online assumes no liability for gifts that are lost within the delivery building, fail to be delivered by the employees, or arrive after the recipient has checked out.   back to top


  • What shipping methods do you use?
    Most orders within the Continental United States are shipped via United Parcel Service Ground (UPS). However, Gourmet Grocery Online does also use Federal Express (FedEx) and USPS. Gourmet Grocery Online does reserve the right to use the United States Post Office (USPS) in some instances.  back to top

  • How long will the gourmet foods in my gift basket stay fresh?

  • How will I know when my order has shipped?
    You will receive a shipment confirmation email after your order has been shipped. You can track delivery status on our website with our UPS Tracker on our Talk To Us page. Be sure to include an email address and password when you place your order.

  • What is your policy if I provide an incorrect shipping address?
    Non perishable items:

    Although this is rare, occasionally the shipping address you type in has errors. If this happens, it becomes necessary for the shipping carriers to correct your address in order to get your package to the correct destination. For this service the carrier charges a fee, and we have no choice but to pass these fees onto you. You will be charged $15.00 for each address change if your order has already shipped from our facility.

    Perishable items:

    Although this is rare, occasionally the shipping address you type in has errors. If an incorrect address was provided, and the food is delivered spoiled. We will be happy to reship your meals, desserts, etc. to the correct address. However, we will have to charge you in full for the reshipment.

  • My credit card was declined, but my account shows a charge pending. Why?
    The expiration date, security card code, zip code and billing address you enter must match exactly what your financial institution has on file for your account (including the street address). If not, the transaction will be denied but your financial institution will likely place a "hold" on the funds for up to five business days even though the transaction is denied due to this address data mis-match. We do not control the authorization process. We are not charging your account multiple times in these situations.   back to top


  • APO/FPO Shipping
    We do offer shipping to all APO and FPO addresses.
    However, there are no loss claims, late delivery refunds or damage claims honored under any circumstances for APO and FPO addresses. These orders at shipped your own risk. The time and effort it takes to handle a claim with the post office is simply beyond our capabilities at this time.   back to top


  • My package was delivered late. Can I get a refund for my shipping fees?
    Yes, but this is a limited guarantee and is only offered for 3-Day, 2-Day and Overnight shipments. If the parcel carrier fails to deliver your package on time, your shipping charges will be refunded. This offer excludes all Ground shipments, and attempted deliveries to apartment addresses. However, our refund policy does not cover: Acts of God (includes weather delays), an act of war, Ground shipments (arrival dates are not guaranteed, only estimated), and high seasonal shipping volume (such as Thanksgiving & Christmas).  back to top


  • What is your product substitution policy?
    On occasion when demand exceeds supply of a particular item, we will replace it with one of equal or greater value at no additional charge. Substitutions may be necessary to ensure your arrangement or specialty gift is delivered in a timely manner. The utmost care and attention is given to your order to ensure that it is as similar as possible to the requested item.   back to top

    Gourmet Grocery Online takes your privacy seriously. When you order we ask for information such as your name and email address. We also collect payment for products online via your preferred credit card. We will in no way share your personal information with anyone outside of Gourmet Grocery Online.   • What is your return/refund policy?
    Gourmet Grocery Online hand picks these products from the highest quality manufactures. We certainly hope that you fully enjoy everything you purchase. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with an item due to damage or quality, please feel free to return the merchandise and we will be happy to refund your purchase price or replace the item.

    Any gift basket must be returned in its original condition (unopened and still in its plastic wrap) to receive a refund of the purchase price. We cannot accept returns of opened gift baskets. Gift baskets returned that have been opened will not be eligible for a refund.


    Orders canceled or returned are subject to a 15% restocking/administration processing fee. Request for refunds on gift certificates prior their expiration date will be charged a 10% administration fee.

    As the name suggests, Gourmet Grocery is an online grocery store of items from across the web. We offer brand name products from a variety of highly respected vendors. Our refund policy covers shipping damages and quality issues. Perishable items unfortunately cannot be returned. Gourmet Grocery Online can not be responsible for incorrect ship to address information and refunds will not be issued. Additionally, if a package is returned undeliverable, we will happily re-ship the item at the customers expense.

    For products shipping to hospitals, apartment, businesses, hotels, colleges or similar location, Gourmet Grocery Online will attempt delivery of the package to the street address provided by the customer. However, we provide no guarantee that the package will be delivered to the intended recipient or company. Gourmet Grocery Online assumes no liability for gifts that are lost within the delivery building, fail to be delivered by the employees, or arrive after the recipient has checked out. Refund/return requests must be made within seven (7) days of your delivery date.

    Gift Certificates and Meal Certificates are valid for one year from the time of purchase.  back to top


  • Deliveries to business addresses.
    For products shipping to business addresses or similar locations, Gourmet Grocery Online will attempt delivery of the package to the street address provided by the customer. However, we provide no guarantee that the package will be delivered to the intended recipient or company.

  • I forgot to enter the coupon code when I placed my order. Can I still get my discount?
    Sorry, but you must have the coupon code and enter it during check out. We regret that we cannot process these discounts manually or retroactively.   back to top


  • Can I cancel or change the delivery address for a meal and/or a perishable item I purchased?
    MEALS: If you have placed your order with Ground shipping, you must cancel your order within 12 hours of your order being received. 2-Day and Overnight shipments must be canceled within 2 hours of your order being received. Due to the perishable nature of the meals, orders already in transit cannot be canceled or rerouted.
    Items such as caviar, cakes, strawberries, fruit baskets, etc. cannot be rerouted. Furthermore, orders cannot be canceled once the items have been picked up by the carrier services and are in route to its requested delivery location.  back to top


  • Fraud notice.
    In the event Gourmet Grocery Online determine, in their sole discretion, that an order may be fraudulent, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any such order, for any reason, at any time, and whether or not the order has been confirmed.  back to top
