1 Tbs    finely diced red onion  
1 Tbs    minced jalapeno  
2 Tbs    fresh lime juice  
  Salt to taste  
  Freshly ground pepper to taste  
 
1 Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl.
2 Season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper.
